I live in rural Alabama. The last several weeks, 11 ambulances have gone past my house. I have lived here over 21 years. This is highly unusual.
Two men in my very small subdivision have died suddenly… One was only 40 years old…
My 19 year old is in a local community college, only one of his classmates decided to take the shot. Within 2 days he was in the hospital. The 21 year old almost died from the Johnson and Johnson.
My 21 year old is working in a co-op for his mechanical engineering degree. One of his coworkers was injured as well. He has not come back to work yet.
A friend at church told us his mom had a stroke after her vax and his dad developed A-fib. He never had heart issues prior to the shot.
Another friend had a series of TIA’s after hers.
A neighbor came to me several months ago in mourning. She had lost 2 cousins to the vax. One by stroke and the other by heart attack.
If Desmet's hypothesis is correct, then what you should have had is around 30% of doctors who would have had their eyes wide open at the beginning, which would make it about 300,000+ physicians in America alone. Had even 100,000+ (hell, even 10,000+) of those doctors simply said, 'We're not doing this to our patients.' this disaster never would have happened - the system would have ground to a halt in mere days with a forced reconsideration of public health policy.
This is to say nothing of the number of nurses & technicians who should/could have walked. What we got instead was a group of people that chose their jobs over their oaths & moral responsibilities to their patients. With the exception of a handful of dissenters in the medical profession, we're 2+ years into this insanity with millions maimed & killed, and only now are healthcare workers slowly hopping on the train. At this point, the word 'doctor' is fit for little more than a punchline.
We listen daily to the Liberty Counsel (lc.org) phone conferences Mon-Fri, where people from all walks of life call-in to seek advice on their legal options to avoid job loss due to the mandates. There are plenty of people of WAY more modest means than physicians, people putting everything on the line to avoid taking these shots. It's heartbraking to hear the stories, many of which do not have a happy ending. There's PLENTY of bravery out there, just not among physicians.
This whole thing is not the product of a failure in bioethics, it's a problem with the fundamental moral compass of those gaining admission to medical school in the first place.
As an emergency physician I would love to do your survey, but I do not trust in the confidentiality of any interactive format with a google app there to 'assist' me in completing the survey. I will say that the American health system, like America, has fallen into the hands of people who will stop at nothing to achieve their ends. I will not vax, and so far my hospital has accepted my religious exemption. Did you see that the CEO of the Cleveland Clinic came out yesterday and said they served the most patients in the history of the company in 2021? No one is attributing that to the vaccine, but I think what happened in Indiana continues to be a trend.

I'm a nurse in Colorado at a big city hospital. This is how it was: no one knew what was going on at first but most people smelled a rat (we suspected political). When the vaccine rolled out, we had already been thrown on the front lines without adequate PPE. A lot of nurses quit. Many nurses took the shot because they were told it would protect the patients. We were told they would be mandatory (vax pass, airlines, travel, etc). Some took the shots because they believed the narrative.
It was shocking how many nurses were quick to believe in asymptomatic spread and wearing a floppy surgical mask does anything to "stop the spread". The hospital offered money to take the shot too (coercion). About 50 of us received a religious exemption (hospital was short staffed). Those of us who can "see" continue to speak out. We are very vocal. I personally did not have to administer the cytotoxic treatments (don't think I could). There were times we were told a patient died from Covid but I wondered. Now I see hospitals were reimbursed up to 300K per Covid death. I saw many ICU nurses quit.
The atmosphere was one of confusion, chaos and rules that did not make sense. To this day, some believe in the narrative (took the shots willingly and continue to get the boosters). So as far as nurses that knew...anyone that knew...or suspected ...spoke out and did not give the shots. Now, as far as telling people (family and neighbors)...they treated me like I was strange and infectious. Very few listened and to this day, most "can't hear" or "see". I believe it's the mass formation described by Desmet. However, it appears Geert is right and as the vaccinated get more sick from the new variants....eyes are opening.
